 The human life is very precious and unpredictable. One misstep, wrong turn or a careless tumble might cause horrific injuries and completely change one’s life.

This is exactly what happened to Michael-Ryan Pattison in 2005 when he traveled to Lake Chelan and dove into the water breaking his neck and becoming quadriplegic. Even though the doctors said that Michael-Ryan won’t be able to move any parts of his body, he never gave up and always trusted in the ability to achieve significant improvements in his health. MR’s family and friends were always near supporting him in every way, along with Dr. John McDonald who previously worked with Christopher Reeves on his rehabilitation program. (more…)

On the 4^th of August, 2011in Moscow in The Ministry of Regional Development GIS International Group received two “First Class” diplomas. The first of these diplomas was for being the best construction company and the second was for being the best project company.

Every year The Ministry of Regional Development together with Russian Unity of Business and Trade Union of Builders and Produces of Building Materials of Russian Federation hold an all-Russian competition for the best construction company and the best project company, among all the building organizations.  (more…)

Shadrinsk Factory for Reinforced Concrete Products and Metal Structures, a member of GIS International Group, took part in the Sixth International Specialized Exhibition “Kurgan 2011: Construction. Energetics. Municipal Economy. Gasification”, that was held in Molodezhny complex in Kurgan on the 26-29 of April 2011.

Other than Shadrinsk Factory that specializes in manufacturing building materials, there were more than 100 construction companies at the exhibition. Innovations in residential construction and effective development of federal property were discussed at the stands and seminars during those couple of days.

The main theme at the exhibition was subsidized development. GIS International Group was able to show their best work in this field. Shadrinsk Factory presented already developed and successfully applied factory-ready, rapid-assembly construction system registered as BSS.GIS. The system allows building projects of different complexity in a short period of time and with minimal effort.

Today, GIS International Group designed and built several subsidized projects. There were cultural, athletic, medical and youth facilities, as well as hotels, dormitories and monuments in different regions of the Russian Federation.

Participation in the Sixth International Specialized Exhibition helped Shadrinsk Factory obtain several contracts to supply its products and materials to Kurgan, Sverdlovsk and Tumen regions.

GIS International Group will participate in the Sixth International Forum “The development strategy of the house building in Russia” that will be held in the President Hotel in Moscow on the 16^th -17^th of May 2011.

The public policy in regional affordable housing will be the main theme of the Forum. Delegates from GIS International Group will participate in important discussions such as regional housing development programs and state incentivized programs for mass development of affordable housing.

While interacting with public authorities and top managers of leading construction companies GIS representatives will share their experience in low-rise construction and how they have applied innovative technology in their business.

       ОАО «Смоленский промстройпроект», г. Смоленск (БАРАНОВ Владимир Ильич) и ЗАО «ГазСтройПроект», г. Воронеж (УХИН Николай Владимирович) – Победители V Всероссийского конкурса, награждены ДИПЛОМОМ III степени «За достижение высокой эффективности результатов деятельности организации в современных экономических условиях за 2008 год».

ОАО “Смоленский простройпроект” награждено Почетным Знаком “Строительная Слава” – высшей общественной наградой строительного комплекса Российской Федерации.

Этой же наградой удостоин Генеральный директор ОАО “Смоленский простройпроект” БАРАНОВ Владимир Ильич.

Почетный знак ” Строительная слава “ – высшая общественная награда работников строительного комплекса Российской Федерации, учрежденная Российским Союзом строителей.
